Ferrite Shielding Beads for RFI / EMI Suppressions

A generic image
Ferrite beads are useful in the attenuation of unwanted RF signals. When dealing with noise problems, it is helpful to know the frequency of the interference. This will determine the correct materials to use. There are many sizes and materials available.
SMALLER BEADS are possible to be slipped leads through a hole and are a single turn device.
LARGER BEADS are shaped similar to a cylinder or long toroids. A few turns through them suffice to provide a higher attenuation.
BEADS ON LEADS come with leads already attached to the ferrite and have single or multiple turns.
